Dayalan Sathiamutty, MBCP – Oil and Gas

Dayalan has vast experience in BCM from multiple industries namely Financial, Oil & Gas and Manufacturing. He experience covers vendor and also end user. His vast experience not only covers in country BCM but also covers offices in Indonesia and Singapore. He is currently holding MBCP (One of 3 in Malaysia currently) and pursuing his Phd in BCM. He is producing a thesis called “Malaysia’s readiness to face disaster: Are we ready”. He was nominated 2 times by DRII Malaysia for award during the DRI Conference in 2013 & 2014.


Sirilah Raman – Financial Services

An accomplished Business Continuity Manager with extensive “hands on” delivery experience in Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Strategic & Operational Risk Management, IT Disaster Recovery, Transformation, Outsourcing and Risk Management Projects with history working in Financial Services, Insurance & Technology industry. A dedicated and result driven and a change agent that is determined to discover more effective ways of delivering transformational risk management programs. Holding Master Degree in International Business and enjoys being part of highly successful and productive team and thrives in highly pressurized and challenging working environment.


Syafiqa Anneisa, CBCP – Government

Syafiqa Anneisa has been involved in the Business Continuity Management field at the organizational and National level. She is currently working in the Information Security & Communications sector developing and managing her organization’s Business Continuity Program. Syafiqa Anneisa has also been involved in the National Cyber Crisis Exercise, under Cyber Security Emergency Readiness led by the National Security Council, involving participation of Sector Leads and agencies across the 10 Critical National Information Infrastructure (CNII).


Shazlina Ahmad, CBCP – Aviation

Shazlina Ahmad, is presently a Risk Manager in Malaysia Airports Holding Berhad, specializing in Business Continuity Management. She has been practicing BCM for 10 years and been in the aviation industry since 2013. She has been certified as a CBCP member since 2008.


Hairul Affandi, MBCP – Financial Services

Hairul is currently managing Operational Risk Management (ORM) Unit for Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan). His functions cover BCM and ORM. His experiences encompass of 11 years in BCM, 7 years in IT support and compliance and 6 years in ORM. He has improved BCM practices and developed alternate sites for several local financial institutions


Pang Heok Han – ICT

Over a decade of in depth Information Risk Management (IRM) experiences with management responsibilities supporting multinational company’s global infrastructure. IRM experience includes IT Security and IT Service Continuity.

In his career he underwent a large outsourcing deal whereby his previous employer (a Fortune 500 Company – Top 10) outsourced a large portion of their IT Workspace Services to a service provider in year 2008. As part of the outsourcing exercise, Pang whom led a small team of BCM practitioners had successfully migrated the BCP for over 2000 staff globally to the new organization’s BCP and established a ITSCM (IT Service Continuity Management) framework based on BS25999 for the client (his previous employer) covering the end to end of DRII’s Professional Practices. The risk exposure was measured in a single dashboard.

In the same role, Pang also led a team of technical DRP practitioners whom supports multiple landscapes of the same client covering more than 3500 servers with an approximate 1.17 petabytes of storage.


Hasman Mansor, CBCP – Plantation

Hasman Mansor currently heads the Group Business Continuity Management for Felda Global Ventures Holdings Berhad, one of the world’s main oil palm producer with local and overseas locations including mills, plants, subsidiaries and associate companies. The task of implementing a successful BCM across a vast organisation is a perfect match for Hasman who brings diverse 18 year experience in SAP and ISO 9001:2008 implementations, HR and Risk Management and Internal Audit and Investigation experience. His knowledge, experience and strong rapport aids in formulating realistic disaster scenarios, effective BCM training and strong commitment from staff across the board.


Ahmad Razif Shaarani – Entertainment, Leisure & Hospitality

Razif Shazi is heavily involved in Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Business Continuity (BCM) for over 14 years mainly in automotive, constructions, chemical, pharmaceutical and currently in leisure & attractions industry. Having worked in Malaysia GLCs like Proton Holdings, United Engineers Malaysia (UEM), Chemical Company Malaysia (CCM) & Sime Darby and currently attached Themed Attractions Hotels & Resorts (TAR&H), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Khazanah Nasional Berhad that develops and operates international and local brand theme parks and hotels such as KidZania, Legoland, Hello Kitty, Thomas Town, Datai Hotel and The Els Club golf courses.


Carol Chia, CBCP – Education

Carol heads the DRI Malaysia chapter since 2008, she takes on the responsibility of managing and growing the program and presence of DRI in the region and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). Carol has been professionally trained by DRI International and has a huge network of resources in the area of business continuity management. She helps organizations to roll out BCM awareness and knowledge enhancement programs throughout the regions especially the emerging market in GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council). Carol holds a degree in Business Administration and MBA and she has more than 10 years working experience in corporate branding, project management and BCM.


Jason Lou – Broadcasting

Jason has 15 years of experience in areas such as Disaster Recovery Operations and Management, Business Continuity Management, Enterprise Risk Management,  IT and Projects Audit in various multi-national organisations. Besides leading a team of risk managers and BCM practitioners in one of Malaysia’s top media and broadcasting company, he also spends his time introducing and sharing business continuity and risk management practices with new employees. Jason has been recognized for his strength in developing and implementing mitigation strategies for business sustainability and strategies to reduce operating incidents and improving operational efficiency and stability.

Kerrie Yeong

Kerrie Yeong – Financial Services Industry

Kerrie, a graduate from Portland State University, Oregon, USA, has been in the financial industry for the last 14 years. During her tenure at Agency Administration, she assisted her reporting boss in implemeting the BCM Program from scratch for her company, namely, from planning phase to implementation & testings’ within a very tight budget. It was subsequently shared with GEL Singapore and GEL Indonesia. Due to her passion in BCM, Kerrie was certified by DRI International, USA in 2007. She is also the co-founder of IABCP, International Association of Business Continuity Practitioners, Malaysia.


Associate Professor Col (R) Dato’ Husin Jazri

Associate Professor Col (R) Dato’ Husin Jazri PhD is currently the Senior Director Information Security, Asia Pacific University, Cybersecurity Professor at the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) and the Non-Executive Chairman of TeleAwan Sdn Bhd. Prior to that he was the founder and the first CEO of Cybersecurity Malaysia Berhad, CEO of iCrypto Berhad, and the Director of National ICT Security and Emergency Response Centre, MIMOS Berhad. He also served the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Defence Malaysia and acted as the cybersecurity advisor to the Ministries. He architected many strategic projects in cybersecurity, including providing security requirements for the Strategic Command and Control Systems for the Malaysian Armed Forces.

While in MIMOS, Professor Husin Jazri helped to set up Cybersecurity Malaysia and qualifies Malaysia to be the Producer Member Status of the Common Criteria Mutual Agreement He initiated advanced integrated digital forensics services for CyberSecurity Malaysia, by converging digital data and video analysis together. He introduced CyberSAFE programmes with schools and communities as well. He initiated and presented the idea of setting up of the National Cybersecurity Coordination Centre for Malaysia, which is now operational under the National Security Council, Malaysia known as NACSA. He also sets up control systems simulation lab for security evaluation and auditing as a service for Critical Infrastructure Organisations in Malaysia, and many more. Professor Jazri is a co-founder and the first chair of APCERT, the founder and the first chair of OIC-CERT and had provided strategic consultancies in cybersecurity to government and private sectors in Malaysia, Africa and Middle East. He is the recipient of the prestigious Harold Tipton Lifetime Achievement Award 2010 by the ISC2.Org for his outstanding works in cybersecurity. He has more than 30 years of combined work experience in securing digital communications, information security and cybersecurity and a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) since 2002.
