Testimonials
” It was a great honor for me to speak in such a well-attended DRI conference, sharing about mitigating disasters in the Philippines and how the Central Bank of the Philippines contributes in this shared responsibility.I was impressed with the array of topics and speakers coming from various countries. I stayed for the whole duration of the conference as I wish to maximize the learning that I will reap from the other speakers and the exchange of views with all others in the conference, including the DRII officers led by Mr. Al Berman. I was able to do this, even as I continued to monitor and direct the operation of my staff in Manila related to the recovery efforts after the devastation caused by Super Typhoon Haiyan, particularly affecting our branch and our people in Tacloban City.
Congratulations to the organizers, as I think the venue, the food, and all others were almost perfect. I’m truly impressed.
How I wish, we also have the equivalent of DRI-Malaysia in the Philippines and doing events like this, which provides a valuable forum and opportunity to meet BC professionals to propagate the discipline and best practice to help our country better prepare, respond and mitigate disasters in the Philippines.” – Antonio A. Grageda ; Bangkok Sentral Ng Pilipinas (Central Bank of the Phillippines)
” The DRI Conference provides a great avenue for current and new BCM practitioners to network and gather new insights on the latest development on BCM. I had a “blast” of a time during the Gala Dinner and the excellence of awards presentation. Kudos to the DRI organizing committee for a job well done. ” – Goh Wei Min ; UMW Corporation
” A highly interactive conference which had a good cross-section of industry and best practice views presented and discussed to address the challenges faced by both the public & private sector in maintaining a contemporary BCM programme.” – Murari Kalyanaramani ; British American Tobacco
” The conference was really good which I’m always waiting every year to meet the BCP communities & friends, to hear new experience and knowledge from them especially for any new emerging issues/risks. The award of excellence is always great, which need to be continued every year to recognize all our efforts, contribution especially to our organization & BCP communities as general. ” – Affandi Yusa ; MyClear
” Just have to say that I learnt a lot from the BCM ‘gurus’ on their sharing of their specialized skills on their respective fields. I hope to ‘translate’ what I learnt to make BCM a more fun but filled with lots of BCM related knowledge and share these with my teams. ” – Wendy Wong ; HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad
” Kudos again to DRI Malaysia for organizing such a splendid event! Selection of topics and speakers was spot-on, giving way to a great atmosphere for the exchange of knowledge and experience. As presentations and discussions were conducted with enhanced interactivity, we took away priceless gems, namely, in the form of lessons learnt, advice, guidance, general tips and traps from fellow BCM/DRP practitioners.
Keep up the excellent work and we look forward to next year’s event! ” – Strateq
http://practical-bcm.blogspot.com – Shariman Azeze ; T-Systems
” The DRI Conference gave us the opportunity to network with other BCM practitioners and allowed us to broaden our horizons by exchanging ideas and discussing on latest issues concerning BCM. In addition, the Gala Dinner which was very well organised by the DRI team surely stole the limelight. Good performance, more networking opportunities and most importantly great line up of award to the well-deserved BCM practitioners. ” – Gayathri Jaganathan ; PricewaterhouseCoopers
