Jasbir joined Petronas, National Oil Company Malaysia in 2000 and was the Head of Group, Crisis and Emergency Senior Manager. He last held the position of Head of Downstream, Crisis and Emergency Senior Manager. He has had extensive experience in training, planning, implementation and evaluation of crisis and emergency programs at senior management level for Petronas domestic and international operations.

He is a qualified trainer for Incident Command System (ICS), a recognized tool used worldwide for response during crisis and emergency management. He led the development of Petronas Group Crisis Plan, Petronas Downstream Crisis Management Plan, Emergency Response Plans, Petronas Guidelines on Commercial Airlines and Country Support Plans for Petronas international business units. He was extensively involved in planning and execution of national and international level emergency exercises jointly conducted together with Malaysian Government authorities from National Security Division (MKN), Royal Malaysian Police, Royal Malaysian Navy, Fire and Rescue Department, Emergency Medical Services, Malaysian Embassy and Petronas domestic and international business units.

He ensured simulations exercises were integrated to meet requirements of Petronas Crisis Plans and benchmarked against protocols and standards established in international standards and Malaysian regulatory requirements. He is also a retired Senior Police Officer having served 23 years with the rank of Deputy Supt of the Royal Malaysian Police. He has also been a qualified commercial airplane and helicopter pilot with Royal Malaysian Police. He is a professionally trained and certified DRI International instructor approved to teach for DRI International since 2010. Jasbir is currently a part of the professional DRI facilitation team.

Mr Rajan has proven accomplishment in Project & Program Delivery, Governance, Enterprise Resiliency, Business Continuity, Incident Management, Third-Party Risk Management, Executive Dashboard Reporting for Compliance Remediation and Regulatory programs.

He has over 34+ years of experience relating to IT, Crisis Management, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Management in the Banking/Financial Institution and MSC Multi-National company of which:-

• 5+years of experience with AIG International as Director of Global Business Continuity for Asia-Pacific Region. He was responsible for the delivery of Group Policy for Incident Management/Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery in country to required standards, encompassing all key responsibilities for 14 countries and 3 Shared Services Centres, as well as conduct annual review of program requirements with BCP Governance Committee and Operational Risk Teams. He has conducted training for AIG Indonesia few times over the last 10 years.
• 1+years of experience with SCOPE International (subsidiary of Standard Chartered) as Manager Business Continuity Management. Mr. Raj is accountable to the CEO, for BCP for a total of 16 countries business functions operations at SCOPE Global Hub in KL. He was responsible for delivery of Group Policy for Business Continuity in country, conduct annual refresh exercises of Business Impact Analysis, Policy gap analysis, Country Risk as well as provide expertise and support to businesses on the development, maintenance & testing of Business Continuity plans.
• 6+ years of experience with DHL Asia Pacific IT Service Centre as Manager, Business Continuity Management / IT Service Continuity Management and Service Management. He formulates Business Continuity Strategy for the Region aligned with the Global Business Continuity framework and oversee the conduct of Business Continuity tests at the regional level and ensure coordination for Global Level testing activities as well as coordinate the the on-going Business Impact analysis and Risk Assessment in collaboration with Business entities on yearly basis.
• 10 years of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Management experience in Bursa Malaysia as Business Continuity Manager. Mr. Raj assists in overall coordination and implementation of Business Continuity Management throughout the organization. He is responsible for all the necessary assistance, support, knowledge and skills which need to be applied in maintaining the BCM in optimum order and Conduct Training on the awareness of Business Continuity Management
• 10 years of IT experience of which 4+ years in Banking/Financial Institution as Manager-Data Centre and the remaining 5+ years as Disaster Recovery Coordinator

Syahril Nizam joined Lembaga Tabung Haji in January 2021. Currently, he is the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, responsible for directing, coordinate and manage current and future risk management of TH. He was the Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at Manulife Malaysia from January 2016 till December 2020 and has 8 years and 1 month experience with this company. He holds an Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking With Honours from Universiti Teknologi Mara. He also an Associate Member of Institute of Enterprise Risk Management, a Member of Malaysia Institute of Accountants since September 2018 and Graduate of Manulife Global IGNITE leadership program for FY2017

Mun Yen is leading the Enterprise Risk Management & Risk Analysis Department of Securities Commission Malaysia (SC). He is responsible for systemic risk surveillance of the capital market, enterprise risk management of the SC as well as crisis management and business continuity management of both capital market and the SC. He has more than 25 years of combined experience in supervision, enterprise and systemic risk management, policy development in the capital market and finance.

• Dr Irwan has more than 20 years working experience with strong business acumen with a firm governance background. He has worked mainly in the areas of risk management, compliance, business continuity management, project management, fraud management, and knowledge management. He was involved in various industries namely in banking and finance, Information Technology, electronic payment in toll and highway, agriculture, logistic, and pharmaceutical.
• Dr Irwan is well experienced in setting up functions such as Risk Management, Business Continuity Management and Crisis Management.
• He is currently a Certified Business Continuity Professional from UK having passed the exam with merit in 2020. Three months after passing the exam, he was accepted as Member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI), UK.
• He is also currently the member of Malaysian Association of Risk and Insurance Management (MARIM) and also invited speakers on risk, crisis and business continuity management by many well recognised companies such as MRT Corporation Malaysia, AEON Credit Services Sdn Bhd, Touch n Go Sdn Bhd, Setel Sdn Bhd and Lembaga Pembiayaan Perumahan Sektor Awam (LPPSA), Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera (LTAT), and more.

He has more than 13 years of experience in the utility industry. His forte in multiple domains such as data management, IT development, as well as telecommunication project makes him well-suited for his current position as a Risk Manager for the ICT Division. In addition to developing and executing risk management programs for his division, he is also well-versed in implementing ISO 31000: Risk Management and ISO 27001: Information Security Management System (ISMS). He graduated from the University of Sains Malaysia with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Some of his professional certifications include ITIL4 and COBIT2019.

Surendren Ramasamy has 15 years of experience in Banking and IT industry. He is specialized in Bank Production Batch Management – Processing & Disaster Recovery Automation using specific tool to improve the uptime of an application.

He has a wide range of knowledge in applications used in Banking industry and the technologies involved. This information contributed to the classification of these Banking applications as per BNM’s RMIT guidelines and implementation DRA solutions to meet the RTO & MTD.

Currently RHB is leading in implementations of DRA solutions in DR activities and become an example for the industry players to absorb the emerging new technology.

Beside a Bachelor’s Degree holder in Biomedicine, Surendren Ramasamy obtained few other certifications such as Business Continuity (BCLE2000), Disaster Recovery Automation (DRA) certification, Mainframe Certification – ES07G – Z/OS JCL and Utilities, Zena Certification (Open System – Scheduler), AS400 Certification – Advanced System Operator Workshop (IBM) and Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP).

Susan is a Certified Enterprise Risk Manager – ISO 31000. Have extensive experience in governance and management of risk identification and controls process of risk and threats of an organization. Member of the global insurance regional operational risk committee with proven accomplishment in Governance of Third Party Risk Management framework.
