Jasbir joined Petronas, National Oil Company Malaysia in 2000 and was the Head of Group, Crisis and Emergency Senior Manager. He last held the position of Head of Downstream, Crisis and Emergency Senior Manager.

He is a qualified trainer for Incident Command System (ICS). He led the development of Petronas Group Crisis Plan, Petronas Downstream Crisis Management Plan, Emergency Response Plans, and related guidelines.

He was extensively involved in national and international emergency exercises with Malaysian Government authorities and various agencies. He is also a retired Senior Police Officer (Deputy Superintendent) and a qualified commercial airplane and helicopter pilot.

He is a professionally trained and certified DRI International instructor since 2010 and is part of the DRI facilitation team.

Mr Rajan has proven accomplishment in Project & Program Delivery, Governance, Enterprise Resiliency, Business Continuity, Incident Management, Third-Party Risk Management, and Compliance Remediation programs.

34+ years in IT, Crisis Management, Disaster Recovery and BCM in Banking/Financial Institutions and MSC multinationals, including leadership roles at AIG (Director of Global Business Continuity for APAC), SCOPE International (Standard Chartered), DHL AP ITSC, and Bursa Malaysia, plus earlier IT/Data Centre management roles in banking.

Joined Lembaga Tabung Haji in January 2021, currently directing and managing current and future risk management of TH. Former Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at Manulife Malaysia (2016–2020). Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking (UiTM). Associate Member of IERM; Member of MIA; graduate of Manulife Global IGNITE leadership program (FY2017).

Leads Enterprise Risk Management & Risk Analysis at the SC: systemic risk surveillance of the capital market, ERM of the SC, and crisis/business continuity management of both the capital market and SC. 25+ years across supervision, enterprise/systemic risk management, policy development in capital markets and finance.

Active speaker for numerous organizations (MRT Corp, AEON Credit, Touch ‘n Go, Setel, LPPSA, LTAT, and more).

13+ years in the utility industry across data management, IT development, and telecom projects; currently Risk Manager for TNB ICT Division. Experienced in ISO 31000 (Risk Management) and ISO 27001 (ISMS). Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (USM). Certifications include ITIL4, COBIT2019, BCLE2000, DRA, Mainframe/OS, Scheduler (Zena), AS400 Advanced System Operator, and Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP).

15+ years in Banking & IT. Specializes in Production Batch Management & Disaster Recovery Automation to improve application uptime. Broad knowledge of banking applications and technologies, contributing to classification per BNM’s RMIT and implementation of DRA to meet RTO/MTD.

Certs include BCLE2000, DRA certification, Mainframe ES07G, Zena (Open System – Scheduler), AS400 Advanced System Operator (IBM), and Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP).

Certified Enterprise Risk Manager (ISO 31000). Extensive experience in governance and management of risk identification and control processes. Member of the global insurance regional operational risk committee with proven accomplishment in governance of Third Party Risk Management frameworks.
