This talk will be focusing on revisit of the past 2 years crisis management plan and the lesson learnt from Business Continuity Management perspective.

Dr. Shasheela Devi Karuppiah (CBCP, PMP, MBA)
Dr Shasheela has more than 17 years of experience in the utility sector, covering a wide range of ICT domains including telecommunications, systems and applications, IT and OT governance.
She holds a PhD in Management, an MBA in Entrepreneurship and a Computer Science degree with first-class honours. Her professional certifications include PMP, CBCP, ITIL4 and COBIT2019, and her work focuses on project management, communication management and business continuity.
Dr Shasheela has been recognised at DRI KL2021 for both individual and organisational BCM excellence, and serves on the Industry Advisory Panel for the Bachelor of Information Technology (Information Systems) programme at Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN).
Sharmala Sumitra (CBCP)
Sharmala has close to two decades of experience spanning quality management, operational risk, business continuity and crisis management, as well as outsourcing risk and governance in the financial services industry.
She has led BCM programmes in multiple organisations, including building a full BCM framework for Etiqa, rolling out crisis and continuity capabilities for banking groups in Malaysia and the region, and driving risk and quality improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies.
Sharmala holds a Bachelor of Commerce and multiple professional credentials, including CBCP, Business Continuity Certified Specialist (BCCS) and Certified Internal Quality Auditor.
Victor Lim Kok Hooi (CPP, CBCP, CRMP)
Victor has more than 17 years of experience in corporate and physical security, with a focus on global security risk management for large multinational organisations.
In his current role with Cummins, he oversees physical security and business continuity programmes across Asia Pacific, and has deep expertise in crisis management, supply-chain security, investigations and travel security.
He holds professional designations as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) and Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP), and is actively involved in industry bodies such as ASIS International, OSAC and the Malaysia Crime Prevention Foundatio
